Summer Weekend Retreat

12th – 14th July 2019

These retreats offer body and soul a metaphorical hug! Accessible to all levels Neurogenic Yoga™ is a revolutionary technique in trauma healing and stress reduction. This practice combines yoga asana and pranayama with reactivation of the body’s natural, therapeutic shaking response. This shaking response in humans, much the same as the instinctual shaking in animals, is the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension and trauma, in order to restore the body to wholeness. Guided meditations, Candlelit Restorative Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga Nidra blend beautifully with this deeply nourishing practice.

You can dip your toe into the retreat, enjoying as much as feels right for you or you may choose to simply dive in. You are free to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful haven through walks over the stunning countryside on your own or with fellow wanderers. Or you might choose to meet yourself on a hill and be still.

Alternatively, if you don’t have SATNAV, the following directions will get you here:

  1. Exit the A30 at the CHERITON BISHOP turning and drive towards Cheriton Bishop village.
  2. On entering the village take the first turning on the left – before the Old Thatch Inn – signposted DUNSFORD. (There is a tree growing in the middle of the road).
  3. Continue for 1.2miles then take the right turn signposted EAST DOWN.
  4. Continue to the end of the tarmac lane then turn left at the East Down sign across the cattle grid and follow the lane down to the Centre.

PLEASE NOTE: We have no cattle but please be mindful when you cross the grid that the vibrations will shake away any negative energy as you enter East Down
