Embracing 2021

Hello dear friends.
Happy beautiful fresh New Year!
I hope that you are keeping warm, safe and ever so well.
I trust that life lifts you with it’s heart and absolute love for being here.

As you may know Namaste Barn Yoga and Meditation Studio has been patiently waiting to open her arms to you. I had planned to host my first in person classes in Jan, then a few days ago tier 3 guidance meant we needed to slow things down. So lets follow natures guidance and go with its flow. Let’s snuggle up and support our tribe.

We can though still safely enjoy what we have
ZOOOOOOOm!
(I never thought I’d appreciate technology so very much!)

If you are curious about joining the 8 week MBSR Course, you are invited to come to a taster session to really understand what the MBSR course offers you and decide if you’d like to join the course.

Followed by: 8 week Mindfulness MBSR Course 

  *Monday’s from 18th January to 15th March 

12.30 -14.30pm 

(*There will be a break of one week with no session on the 8th March)

You will be provided with a Course Workbook and downloadable Guided Meditations for home practice.

You’ll also be invited to attend an optional one-day Silent Retreat which will be in the 6th or 7th week costing £35.00 Covid guidance allowing….otherwise it will be an online retreat. This is usually at a weekend. The date of this will be confirmed at the beginning of the course.

Opening Namaste Barn Yoga and Meditation Studio

 Namaste Yoga & Meditation Studio… it’s virtually open….and nearly, nearly really open!

Hello dear friends,
I hope that you and your loved ones are keeping warm and well….and making time for yourselves, to do something that makes you smile.
As many of you know I’ve been on a journey towards opening my own studio for some years!
It is incredible to discover that I’m almost there! Wow…it feels amazing!


I can hardly believe I’ll be rolling my mat out in here for the first time and sharing my first live (online) Yoga class from here on Tuesday evening. I would love you to be here in person. But, I still have that to look forward too. 
 You are so welcome to join me…..virtually! And hopefully soon in person!  But for now…..

If you are curious about joining the 8 week MBSR Course, you are invited to come to a taster session to really understand what the MBSR course offers you.

This course follows the Gold Standard MBSR – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Curriculum. The most highly effective, robustly researched and endorsed programme in the world developed by Dr Jon Kabat Zinn and Mark Williams of Oxford University.

The majority of people who complete the MBSR Course report:

Greater energy and enthusiasm for life

Improved Sleep

Increased ability to relax

Reductions in pain

Improved resilience and ability to cope with short and long term stressful situations

Feeling a deeper sense of peace.

In each session we will be developing different aspects of mindfulness practice  

exploring new skills to add to your toolkit, in a gentle approach,

 enabling you to better meet life’s challenges.

 

Between sessions you will be given simple mindfulness for life tools to develop a steady comfortable practice at home.

What do you need to bring? Just you!

Oh… and a commitment to yourself is really key. Meditation practice is a bit like cleaning your teeth. It’s a habit that we make time for every day. When we decide to give ourselves the gift of this daily meditation practice, we begin from day one to transform our relationship with our life.

You will be provided with a Course Workbook and downloadable Guided Meditations for home practice.

You’ll also be invited to attend a one-day retreat as part of this programme.
