Sharpham House
Gentle Yoga and Meditation
Weekend Retreat
1st- 3rd March 2019 | Ashprington, Totnes, Devon.
A Weekend of Self Kindness
Join Jo to dive deep into a transformative combination of Gentle Yoga, TRE, Nidra and Meditation woven together with Mindfulness.
The weekend will help you unfold, release and move forward with lightness, rediscovering your most relaxed self.
Gentle Mindful Yoga with TRE
Soothing, mindful yoga will enable you calm your mind and connect with the wisdom held within your body.
Often we consider thinking and analysing to be a way to understand ourselves and find solutions to our problems, yet our body has its own memory and wisdom.
We’ll re-awaken our inner healer, allowing body and mind to release and let go. This deeply restorative practice awakens our innate neurogenic tremor release response through gentle mindful hatha yoga, restoring and rebalancing us as tensions ripple away.
This Neurogenic release yoga is accessible to everyone and will be honouring your pace and ability in a nurturing and supportive space.
Mindfulness Meditation
Jo will introduce you to mindfulness meditation seated (or lying if sitting isn’t comfortable for you.) and through mindful walking meditation in nature.
Yoga Nidra
Jo will ease you into guided yoga nidra practices where you will effortlessly be carried into a meditative state, surfing the stages of sleep and exploring awareness from a clear non-analytical perspective. In this deeply relaxed state your ‘judgements’ will be absent, your preconceived ideas gone and only the essence of your being will be present, offering insight and often a profound sense of everything being OK just as it is.
